My name is Suzanne, and this is my husband, and most wonderful gift from the Lord I have ever received, Jim. We are people in Christ who love to encourage others with His words. We love to pray with and for other people, interceding on their behalf, and stand in agreement with them that their needs are being met and prayers answered. We can't even describe the thrill, but it is the most exciting and satisfying inner feeling to hear praise reports from those you have been praying for. We just have to praise God every time we think of how Awesome He is! In fact, we are so blessed, looking to the Lord for all things and in thanksgiving, we want to pray for God's favor in every area of your life.
We are here to help Christians to mature in Christ, in order to receive all that God has for them.
To believe is to receive, and to receive is to believe. Paul referred to many of those who are still needing "milk" while the mature Christian can partake of "solid food". What does that mean? We all need to learn how to grow up. Not everyone can swallow the Word of God, which is strong and convicting; we need to learn who we are in Christ, and how to live righteously for Him. We need to be non-judgmental of others; rather, encouraging them in the ways of the Lord, demonstrating the compassion and love of Christ.
We are "all" called to be intercessors...
Prayer is a major part of God's ministry. Each of us (you, included) are called to interceed on each other's behalf, and we want to be there for you. When we pray, He hears us... The Word states that when a righteous person prays, it avails much. While we are not claiming to be righteous on our own, or through anything that we have done; as it is only "through Christ" that God looks upon us as righteous. It is through the Blood that was shed on the Cross, that we have the ability to be in an intimate relationship with the one and only Almighty God, through His Son, Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, and the Holiest of the of Holies! What an honor, and humbling experience it is to give Him praise because He alone is worthy of all the honor and all of the glory.
Give God all the Praise, all the Glory and all the Honor... for He Alone is Worthy!
Do you know that there is something you can give the Lord something that He doesn't already have? That is your praise! If you choose to praise Him ten times over the course of the day, then that is ten times more praise then He would have received from you! To give Him praise is to say "thank You, Lord" for all the wonderful things He does for us... my husband and I are always giving God praise for all that He has done for us, continues to do for us, and plans on doing for us in the future. It takes up most of our prayer time!
Finances...
The financial aspect of our ministry is solely on our shoulders. If you wish to give to the Lord, we have a "donation" link to give to others who are desperately in need.
Christian "Unbelief"...
What motivated us? Many people today don't believe in God's healing, or that it is His will to heal them. Or, they will say something like "if it is God's will, then He will heal me", without realizing the doubt that is coming out of their mouth by starting the sentence with the word "if". Everything you will ever read about God in His word is positive; and He is not in agreement with anything that is negative. (Fear and negativity is not of Him or from Him, and that statement is based on the fear that it may not be His will that they be healed.)
If you have made this mistake, simply ask God to forgive you for doubting, as you didn't realize that you were. He knows that, but still, His nature cannot work in negativity. Read scriptures that promise your healing, and make confessions of those promises as though they were meant specifically for you, because they were! By making confessions, I just mean to say them out loud, on a personal level, and in your prayer life, reminding God what He said about it and that you are believing His word for your healing. For just one quick example, simply state: "Thank You, Lord, for healing me. In your Word (Isa. 103) You state that You forgive all iniquities and heal all disease. Thank You for forgiving me for anything I have done to offend You, and for any doubt of your will for me, because I believe Your word is true, and I thank You, in advance, for healing me". (See link to page on "How to Confess").
Conclusion...
With that said, we have been lead to create this site in order to "stand in the gap", to pray and intercede on your behalf ourselves, along with numerous other prayer groups we have teamed up with to assist you in seeking after God's will in your life and for the answers to be manifested as you grow your faith and confess His words. We are also here to encourage you when you are feeling week, and teach you how to speak the Word - by faith - until you see the answers, even miracles, come into fruition in your life - for whatever promises you are believing for.
We pray that this site blesses you, and teaches you how to fervently and actively pursue the desires of your heart - through prayer and confession of God's Word - because it states in His word that it is His will that He gives His servants the desires of their heart. We must first be in a place of obedience in order to receive all that He has for us, and walking in love. If there is any unconfessed sin in your life, you need to repent, or inquire of the Lord if there is anything you need to repent of. Then, we must also ask, and believe Him for all of His promises He has placed before us. Remember, the Lord said to ask, and you shall receive, but you have to be walking with Him, in obedience, in order to receive all that He has for you. The end result will be that of peace and love and prosperity, for He blesses us so we can "be" a blessing. By walking in love, we allow Him to live through us, by guiding us with the Holy Spirit. This way, we, again, can pray the will of God and He can use us to be a blessing to others.
In sum, by speaking His Word into the situation, you are acting in faith (by speaking you are acting, not just thinking). Surrendering to His Will gives Him the ability to fight your battles for you - as angels harken to the Word of God (Psalm 103:20). By acknowledging that it is His will for you BE in health, and prosper in ALL things, just as it is His will that your soul prospers (3 John 2), you are coming into agreement with His will in your life and what He has already said about you. By praying His Word, you are praying His will; thus, you are praying the answer, rather than focusing on the problem. Which is the purpose of this site!
