Confessions of God's Favor on Your Life

Confessing God's favor in your life is of utmost importance. So many people are afraid to ask the Lord for anything, yet He wants to give them so much!  Try turning it around, and speaking in faith, by thanking the Lord in advance for all that He has for you... Try submitting to His will, one day at a time, and thanking Him for His love and His mercy and His grace.  Acknowledge what His Word says about His will in 3 John 2, for example, that He wants to prosper you in "all" things (what does that leave out?) and wants you to "be in health", just as it is His will for your soul to prosper. His favor and prosperity is only experienced by walking in faith, and in love, and then you will receive it continually, through the Holy Spirit, on a daily basis for all your needs, spirit, soul and body to be met.

Here are some great every-day confessions of favor:

Father, thank you for making me righteous and accepted through the Blood of Jesus. Because of that, I am blessed and highly favored by You. I am the object of Your affection. Your favor surrounds me as a shield, and the first thing that people come into contact with is my favor shield.

Thank You that I have favor with You and man today. All day long, people go out of their way to bless me and to help me. I have favor with everyone that I deal with and come into contact with today. Doors that were once closed are now opened for me. I receive preferential treatment, and I have special privileges. I am God's favored child.

No good thing will He withhold from me. Because of God's favor, my enemies cannot triumph over me. I have supernatural increase and promotion. I declare restoration of everything that the devil has stolen from me. I have honor in the midst of my adversaries and an increase of assets -- especially in real estate and an expansion of territory.

Because I am highly favored by God, I experience great victories, supernatural turnarounds and miraculous breakthroughs in the midst of great impossibilities. I receive recognition, prominence, and honor. Petitions are granted to me even by ungodly authorities. Policies, rules, regulations, and laws are changed and reversed on my behalf.

I win battles that I don't even have to fight, because God fights them for me. This is the day; the set time and the designated moment for me to experience the free favors of God that profusely and lavishly abound on my behalf.

 ...In Jesus' name -- Amen.

Joy is of equal importance. We can all learn from Joel Osteen's lesson on how to remain full of joy in your life, no matter what:

Staying Full of Joy is a Powerful Weapon

John 14:27: I'm leaving you well and whole. That's my parting gift to you. Peace. I don't leave you the way you're used to being left--feeling abandoned, bereft. So don't be upset. Don't be distraught
  • It's important to stay full of joy, learn to laugh and smile.
  • God wants us to live life to the full, until it overflows. He wants us to have so much joy that it spills over onto other people. Every where we go we should infect others with our joy.
  • 90% of all doctors visits to a PCP are stress related.
  • If we'd learn to laugh and smile more, we'd see more of God's blessings and favor in our life.
  • Try not to fight against everything that comes against you.
  • Don't loose your joy and get upset; what's done is done. Laugh about it and move on.
  • If you will live your life happy, God will fight your battles for you.
  • You are not the Potter, God is the Potter and He is the only one who can change people.

Proverbs 14:30: A sound mind makes for a robust body, but runaway emotions corrode the bones.

  • We need to keep your joy because when adversity and challenges come, our energy can be drained.
  • Maybe God has you in a position to be a good influence.
  • Instead of trying to change everybody and all of your circumstances, relax and let God change you.
  • You will see your whole situation turn around if you will simply get your joy back.
  • You will go to new levels of victory if you will quit living so stressed out and up-tight.
  • The joy will give you the strength, help you to persevere, and stand strong.

Habakkuk 3:17-18: Though the cherry trees don't blossom and the strawberries don't ripen, Though the apples are worm-eaten and the wheat fields stunted, Though the sheep pens are sheepless and the cattle barns empty, I'm singing joyful praise to God. I'm turning cartwheels of joy to my Savior God.

Job 5:22: You'll shrug off disaster and famine, and stroll fearlessly among wild animals.

  • The people that are consistently full of joy are the ones that really live in victory.
