Scott, age 51 this year, contracted polio when he was just over a year old. He has battled this all his life, with over a dozen surgeries, using braces, and walking with a cane. Today, he suffers from his muscles deteriorating, which causes a great deal of pain... and the only hope in sight of not ending up in a wheel chair - and continual pain - is stem cell therapy. However, with his current insurance carrier and financial situation, it is impossible without your help.

The photo above is of all of the cousins last time we were together a few years ago - goofing around. Scotty is in the back row, middle, wearing a white shirt under a black jacket. The nice thing is, Scotty is as sweet and caring as he is handsome and charming.

Please help us reach our goal and give toward Scotty's dream... of turning his situation around... either as a taxable donation for a good cause, in memory of a loved one who had polio or PPS, or in honor of another.

Our goal is $20,000. We just started taking donations in March, 2009, and are currently short $19,344... so it may take a little time but every day we are getting a little closer!  We will update this site as this number changes, week by week, or month by month, whichever the case may be.
